At Pure Lime we are into how we can exercise better and train smarter - and what do we mean by that? That we continuously train and eat healthy 24/7?
Absolutely not :-) as human beings we are different and thank goodness for that. We have different views on how to live a healthy and active lifestyle. We all know that living an active life is important to staying healthy but here at Pure Lime we have various definitions on how to do just that.
- For some people at our company, exercise is to complete a marathon or a lot of them, for others it is as simple as playing with the kids or taking the dog for a walk.
- For some healthy food is when our burger has salad in it, for others it includes improving your eating habits with healthy food choices: not consisting of gluten and lactose. It also has to be sugar-free food and organic.
There are many different opinions on how to stay healthy. We, at Pure Lime, actually think, as an active wear company, that we have a very diversified group of individuals that all have our ideas and suggestions to how to stay active and healthy.
We strongly encourage movement of any sort as we know that exercise and a healthy lifestyle is important for our wellbeing. Physical activity is essential to prevent and reduce risks of many diseases. People who are physically active live longer and have lower risks for heart disease, stroke, diabetes, depression and some type of cancers. Live healthy, live longer.
We have therefore decided to put some focus on different types of training goals here on our Blog. In the following months, you will have the opportunity to follow Isabella's journey in reaching her bikini fitness goal, get to know more about what she eats, her thoughts and how she is training.
In addition, we will on a regularly basis post short training videos that you can use either at home or at the gym. This could be a great tool to get motivated to get fit.
All in all, we believe that fitness and physical activity should be fun. If you are enjoying an activity you will have no problems sticking to your goals. We put our focus on transforming our fitness goals into a lifestyle that is fun and rewarding. We believe that there is no right or wrong way to exercise. The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today :-)
The best workout of all is simply whichever one you enjoy the most whether it's a walk, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, running a marathon or playing hide and seek with your kids.
